Primal Voices is the debut LP from Sacred Alchemy. It brings together many years of travel, spiritual discoveries, and sonic explorations around the globe. Sacred Alchemy has been touched deeply by experiences living/working/studying/playing with indigenous peoples and tribes on all inhabited continents. Each track has been inspired by tribal contexts, instrumentation, polyrhythms, Elders and Shamans, and encapsulates the beliefs and spiritual worlds of these peoples.

The album has been created in 432Hz and utilises frequency activations, binaural beats, tuning of the human biofield and live field recordings from specifically selected grid points important to the cultures featured in each track. It has been specifically designed to be experienced in a stereo environment in order to receive the full benefits of the sonic healing/activation modalities. The album has been written to be one continuous story.

Primal Voices unites all polarity, dark and light, past and future, terrestrial and galactic, conscious and subconscious. Allow yourself to be immersed in the dreamscape so that the sound healing can activate your physical, mental and etheric bodies and set the path for the next wave of humanity…

The album opens with the listener being invited in to a sacred fire, coming in out of the cold (ignorance) and into the warmth (knowing, integrity, truth) of a sacred fire. The timber (Bloodwood) fuelling the fire holds particular significance for the Djabguay mob of far north eastern Australia.

“Welcome, I’ve got a story for you. A story about how it all began…. This is my story, this is our story. Here is where it all began…”

The biofield tunings in the opening of the track are specifically designed to scan the listener’s auric field and break up any densities within the etheric body to pave the way for the experience of the album. The use of the stereo field is important to break up those energies, and then re-align the chakra system by pulling that energy back in to its original place within the biofield through stereo field manipulation.

“Dreamtime” is in respect to the Djabuguay tribe. The words and songs are in the Djabuguay language, a language only known and used by a very small number of people, and the number of Songmen is dwindling. This song sets the tone for the album, with the sacred song of the Didja Didja (Willy Wagtail), who, for the Bama (the rainforest peoples) is the harbinger of change. In their stories, when one sees a Didja Didja dancing, it signifies that news and great change is soon to come from that news. That the old paradigms and beliefs about the reality are about to be challenged and recreated with the new information being the catalyst. A fitting beginning to an album created from the vision of activating and healing listeners and dancers alike. This chapter closes with the dry electrical storms that bring the changing of the seasons to the tropics.

It was an absolute honour to have the chance to record with Uncle Bertie, an Elder of the Djabuguay, and also to have the opportunity to record the Mayi Wunba Dancers. A very special and rare chance for listeners to embark on an adventure into the culture and beliefs of the Djabuguay mob. This track drops the listener into the changing of the seasons in the wet tropics of far northern Australia, when the dry season hits its peak and ruptures into the wet season.

The thunder breaks way, transporting the listener deep into the “Amazon” basin. Where it is monsoon; hot, humid, stormy, but a time of new life and rapid growth. Deep tribal rhythms pounding through thick humid air under the canopy of ancient trees, with the calls of insects and birds floating through the forest. The listener sits beside a stream, looking in to the wonder of the jungle. A world full of people connected to that place, connected to the animals, to the plants. A place where nature is the driving force for all life. A place where plants hold the wisdoms of the ancients. It calls forth the warrior in all of us, the unshakeable truth within each and every being of their purpose and place within the realm of Pacha Mama, and to ground that mission here on Earth. A call to fight for what you believe in and hold nothing back from this game we call life. Spine tingling vocals floating across the canvas of the forest, reminiscent of the beckoning of Gaia to dive deep into her embrace and power. It is from this space of connection to nature that we can draw the strength required to create the new templates for humanity, and it is here that they must be grounded. This track features light language activations from Abelid and brings the galactic and terrestrial planes together in a synergy designed to empower the listener, to imbue them with the power to fight for truth.

Next, we are once again transported on the wind, sweeping the listener high into the himalayan range. Here we are met with “DungChen” (Tibetan long horns), buddhist monks and their views of the world. This track was designed to activate the primal forces from which we are all born. Deep pulsating drives, vocal tantric initiations, which give way to the rising of kundalini up the shashumna to activate the heart, throat and pineal gland. An immense space and vantage is created for the listener, sitting high in the himalayas, where the deep pulsating resonance of the mountains meets with the sky. Earth and Air. The precise melodic polyrhythms presented by the tabla, dun dun, vocals and other percussive elements, push the listener into a new space where the etheric realms are within reach, and they are designed to activate our third eye and focus the energy of the song in to the pineal , the seat of the nectar of the Gods (DMT). As our consciousness dissolves throughout DungChen, we have dematerialised to a point where at the end, we can simply float away on the mountain wind to embark West in to the realms of the deserts of the Middle East and Islamic cultures.

Here, we are invited in to the realisation that our reality is exactly what we want, and that if what we feel is being reflected by our outside reality is not what we think we truly want, that it is in fact our own limited construct through subconscious creations giving a false appearance. “You always have exactly what you want”, it is just a matter of how clear we are about what we really want. Who is driving the show (reality), are we conscious creators, or unconscious slaves to our realities… The instrumentation within this piece has a focus on melodic and rhythmic intricacies endemic to a large area, from Iran to Northern Africa. This track is the most melodically focused work in the album, which transports the listener from the primal realms of percussion, in to the etheric and galactic realms of melody and harmony.

At the close of the work, we are left with a heightened emotional state. We have had our auric densities dispersed, our chakras aligned, and our Warrior has been called forth. This album was made for warriors; you, me, everybody…
